First of all, I'd like to apologize for the lack of activity on here. Journal and partly art wise. My life has been so busy with all sorts of sorting out...jobs, living place...etc.etc...and it's still not a 100% certain what it will be. I'll probably write another update once that has been sorted out, because it will again influence how active or not I can be once more...
anyway...
I also saw that I gained a few more watchers and checking upon the favorites, thanks to my dear comic TMNT Fallen again.
I thank you all for the love for my comic, but I have quite some news for you all:
I simply can't keep on working on TMNT Fallen anymore...quite some dire news, but there's too much going on.
Hey now! Before you all cancel your follower status, I got you another cookie.
messaged me the other day. We had quite some pm's and I'll leave it to her - along with my supervising - to at least write the story as a fanfic.
She has all the details how the story will proceed further and how the story will end. I agreed to sketch out some scenes and make the chapter front pages. so at least you get partly some art from the story.
Nobody will start from the beginning, but she will post the story on her DA account on here as well as the one website she's been using for her fanfics before.
You should check them out. I got a chance to read her stories, otherwise I wouldn't have agreed so lightly.
More personal art, commissions I got around my home town, concept art to my new original story - the one with all the puppies in it.

Hear me out dear followers,
this has been a very intense year as a follow up thanks to the events of 2016. My life came apart...I lost my best friend...quite some money since I tried to safe her life...and I'm trying hard to start off new- not to mention I'm not the youngest among all you amazingly talented online peeps. I had to deal with quite some ups and downs. Family, colleagues...in the end, I finally quit my job at the store I'm working with. I'll stay there 'till August and then that's it. RESTART!
In all this time, I grew apart from the fandom. I drew what helped me stay sane. What felt like a part of me. And that's why I want to concentrate a bit more on my personal work.
I hope you can all agree with me and still feel like staying a fan of my skills. I appreciate you all!
Please don't feel shy if you have any more questions and/or want to chat or hang out.

Welcome to the year 2021
...well technically we're in the middle of 21 already...oh well... what's up? Who's still here? I had a couple of really hard private years. Unfortunatley lots of dramas and deaths in my line of friendships/family, so I had been away for a bit. I know that I had a lot of fans following me for my TMNT comic "Fallen". Obviously, it always sucks when a good work of fanfiction comes to a halt, but I have some hopefully good news? First of, I won't be finishing the comic...I just simply don't have the time, but for all the fans out there, I'm willing to conclude the story. How? I'm offering to post summeries of all the side/main story parts that were yet to happen, including some sketches of special scenes to help you see a picture. However, this will be a lot of art work in form of text and sketch and I don't mind doing at least this part, but I'd like to know, if there's even still fans on my page for this to see the light of day? Second of all, if you came here for my furry art

So, since I did end the hiatus of my TMNT Comic Fallen, I'm re-opening the sign-up for any OC's you want to see as a background character in my comic. Who knows, I might even ask you for a bigger role in it if your character fits the needed scene.
To sign-up simply post a very good description of your OC if you have no character-sheet, or a link to said template in this journal.
Add if your character would fit to be: Turtle allies; Shredder allies; or Schneider allies (the main villain of this story)

Hey peeps,
my buddy Maddy is in need of some money to get by. A lot of you might actually remember him, cause he had been on DA before doing incredible artwork along with TMNT Art. He has since moved on, but his commissions are incredibly low right now and look at the style!
So please, if you can, consider commission him, throw in a good tip as well, 'cause he's greatly underselling himself for the cause to get by!

Style input
This year so far - even though not far in - has been a very determined year to finally get to work on my comic. For real. That said, I won't be starting pages before I have a small buffer, as I have yet to see how long one single page will get me to make with what little free time I have to myself.
That said, I'm still anxious how to settle on the style:
In this piece I used traditional outlines, scanned it in and colored it digitally. It looks a bit edgy that way, but I haven't played with the filters to smooth the lines. Maybe if I did that it wouldn't be so scratched up?
This here was fully digital.
What do you think guys? Some input?

You have great art, I will continue to follow you. You have my full support. While I am saddened that you will not continue on with Fallen I can understand losing the desire or the steam to finish a story (I get asked to finish fic too). I have also grew apart from the fandom, so don't feel alone! Good luck with everything, and I hope this year will treat you better than 2016.
